Conflict Victim and Disable Society-Nepal (CVDS-Nepal hereinafter) is a non profit social organization established in 2005 with a mission to enhance opportunities and uplift the livelihood of conflict victims and persons with disabilities (pwd’s) in Nepal. It is governed by a board of members and an advisory committee. Considering the post conflict situation, CVDS has been supporting people who have been affected by political, social, and cultural violence within the country through a multitude of vocational cum income generating projects. These trainings are provided free of cost. The training cost is met by various national and international partnership, contributions from members and the sale of handicraft items produced by the pwd’s of CVDS-Nepal. The items produced by the trainees are being demanded and been used by various national & international agencies/embassies.
To enhance the overall development of victims of conflict and pwd’s by making them capable enough to lead an independent life thereby mainstreaming them towards national development.
To open doors for conflict victims and physically disabled people for vocational and emotional up-liftment.
